Renso van Wieringhen Borski

Renso (R.C.) van Wieringhen Borski specializes in (international) corporate law and procedural law (litigation). Renso is often engaged in matters before the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal and as counsel in international commercial arbitration and litigation.

Specialisation

As a litigator in the Netherlands his focus areas include disputes relating to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and directors’ liability. His expertise in and out of court makes him an excellent sparring partner for entrepreneurs and corporate counsels. Renso is a skilled litigator in summary proceedings, proceedings on the merits and (international) arbitrations.

Experience

Renso has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate litigation. Since the Y2K issue, Renso has also been interested in ICT law and has been following its development since. In particular in the FinTech industry, where he has advised in various takeovers and acted in litigation for payment service providers.


Renso has registered the following legal areas in the register of legal areas of the Dutch Bar Association: (‘Rechtsgebiedenregister’):

- Civil procedural law
- Corporate law

This registration obliges him to obtain ten continous education points each calendar year in this registered areas of law, according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
