Caro (C.G.P.) Mennen has been working for Pellicaan Advocaten since 2012. She studied Dutch law at the University of Maastricht (2006 – 2011). During her masters Caro chose civil law and within this field she focused on business law. Her thesis covered a doctrine in the field of insolvency law: the so-called Peeters/Gatzen-claim.
During her study Caro did not only focus on developing her legal skills. As a member of a student association she actively participated in several committees. Furthermore she was voluntarily involved in the realization of a project for mentally ill youngsters.
Caro’s current field of practice is business law. Within this area of law Caro advises on various issues concerning company law, insolvency law, drafts contracts and conducts legal proceedings.
Caro participated in the committees of the Young Bar Association that organized the local moot court and the (study) trip abroad.
