Martijn (T.H.W.) van der Meer has been working at Pellicaan Advocaten since October 2025. He was admitted to the bar in July 2026.
Martijn completed his bachelor’s degree in law from VU University Amsterdam. During his studies, he spent a semester at the Faculty of Law of the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain. He subsequently completed his master’s degree in Private Law at the University of Amsterdam.
For his thesis, Martijn focused on goodwill compensation and post-contractual non-compete clauses within franchise and agency agreements.
Experience
Whilst studying, Martijn gained experience at various national and international law firms. He also worked as a working student at Forvis Mazars and Pellicaan Advocaten.
At Pellicaan Advocaten, Martijn focuses on the mergers and acquisitions practice. He also advises companies on a wide range of corporate law issues, ranging from day-to-day business operations to complex transactions and restructurings.
