Britta Kuppens joined Pellicaan Advocaten on 1 February 2025 as a Paralegal in Rotterdam and was sworn in as an attorney-at-law on 11 July 2025. Britta successfully completed her Bachelor's degree in Dutch Law and her Master's degree in Labour Law at Leiden University.
Experience
During her Bachelor's degree, Britta gained relevant work experience through an internship at Pellicaan Advocaten. During this internship, she developed an interest in employment law, after which she went on to study for a Master's degree in Employment Law.
Before joining Pellicaan Advocaten, Britta already had three years of work experience in employment law. During her studies, Britta worked for over a year as a legal advisor for a legal expenses insurer and, in the two years following her graduation, as a labour law solicitor. She enjoyed this work and handled a wide variety of employment law cases independently during these years, gaining extensive experience in advising and litigating in employment law.
Focus
As an attorney-at-law with a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to her clients, Britta not only brings legal knowledge to the table, but also a genuine interest in the people or companies behind the case. What characterises Britta is her ability to really listen. She takes the time to understand what is going on, actively contributes ideas and looks for solutions that are not only legally sound, but also practically feasible.
